because of sheer physics: a truck with that aerodynamic design and ugliness could not accelerate to 60 in 3.1 . not possible. tires and torque would have to much larger then they are now.
I read that Car and Driver test where one of them seemed to be doing well against several exotic tuner cars, except that it was put out with a broken transmission. Never mind looks, this thing is all about pure brutality... and talk about a sucker punch. Nobody is going to see this one coming, as some of the comments here prove.
(Of course, this is from a guy who thinks it would be cool to build a 400 hp Dodge Aries station wagon, just because such a thing would be completely evil.)
